We are very excited to share with you Laura Harris' 2023 solo show! 

In her latest collection, Laura Harris delves deeper into the realm of abstraction, further distilling her well-known abstract landscapes into their purest form. By further stripping away the constraints of realism, she eloquently communicates the landscape's spirit and energy in a more visceral way. Texture and brushwork play a vital role in creating a tactile sense of the natural world – the ruggedness of a mountain range in the distance, the calming fluidity of water, or the softness of grass. Drawing similarities to the work of Kline and Reinhardt, Laura’s layered use of light and dark – almost black pigments, is both dramatic and elegant, conveying a wide range of emotions, from melancholy and introspection to joy, strength and resilience. This new collection invites us to go deep – explore, dream and find meaning in the landscapes that shape our experiences and perceptions.
